Why Service Charge?

Starting july 14th, 2025, we are switching to a service charge model of operations. the cost of running a restaurant have outpaced our ability to raise prices accordingly, and we need to make some changes.

What this means:

a 22% service charge will be added to all bills. all of the service charge is retained by the house. we use this money to pay employees, pay bills, and control the costs of doing business. each one of our team members is paid a flat rate for all hours worked and no longer rely on tips for a part of their wage. We are able to close some of the pay gap between front of house and back of house, use the service charge to pay managers, and competitively hire.

22% is the average tip rate for our staff, based on the last year of business.
